Jack's story

Antwerp Pride 2022 was a turning point for me. With little to no knowledge about fetishes or kink, I simply went there to celebrate being myself. Together with a friend, I explored the different stands in Antwerp Pride Village. Eventually, we came across a booth selling basic fetish items. One set caught my eye: for €50 you could get a pup hood, a harness, wrist bands, and a collar. My friend encouraged me to try it, so I decided to buy a set. The colors available were red, white, purple, and blue. I chose blue — a color I still use today. On the second day of Pride, people started asking me what my pup name was. Out of stress and quick thinking, the name Jack slipped out… and it stuck. I’ve never changed it since.

After Pride, it took a few weeks before I managed to connect with other puppies. As someone completely new to the scene and without prior kink experience, finding my way wasn’t easy. But through a fetish app, a pup from Antwerp found me and welcomed me into the local pup community. From that moment on, my pup journey started moving much faster.

A little fast forward: I attended my very first event as a puppy with other Antwerp pups. It was also my first time in a kink bar, and I had barely any gear, so I was nervous and unsure of what to do. Then I saw another pup playing on all fours. I wanted to try it too, so I slowly went down on all fours and joined in. We played with a ball, I tried barking for the first time, and we exchanged friendly gestures like head pats and belly scratches. It was simple, playful, and it helped me feel more confident in my new identity.

3-5 years later, when I look back at the journey that brought me here, I’ve discovered so much: The kink community has become my second family. A family that welcomed me with open arms, supports me unconditionally, and accepts me exactly as I am. They encouraged me to try, explore, and grow without fear of failing. Through them, I learned a new definition of love. I gain so much energy from the people around me, which keeps my enthusiasm for pupplay alive and makes me want to keep connecting and playing with others. I discovered what kind of pup I am: a bouncing, energetic, loud, cuddly, fluffy Stitch-pup with a big heart.

Pupplay helped me through difficult mental periods. The sense of belonging, connection, and support had a huge positive impact on my life. Pupplay became the foundation that allowed me to explore other interests and kinks, each of which helped me grow and understand myself better. I continue to evolve in my pup journey. Every day, it motivates me to discover more, learn more, and embrace myself further. Some of the most meaningful friendships in my life came through pupplay. These connections shaped me, supported me, and made my world bigger and brighter. To everyone reading this: You are always welcome for a big blue Belgian huggie. Thank you for giving me the love, support, and warmth that helped shape my pup-life. I hope I can give that same feeling back to you and other's who wants to start their journey.

your blue bouncy ball, Jack
